Yeah, I was robbed as they say...lol.
Thought it was a dream scenario with someone all in before me and someone calling all in after me.
Have to say though..on a table that was completely full of Bristol Players I did feel a little unwelcome, thanks for saying Hi Mango, but other than that I didn't get a reply to any other comments I made, particularly re that losing hand...I'm not sour or anything but when the KK guy gets loads of "well played" after winning the hand and I didn't get one "ul" thrown in my direction, it's as if the hand I had was 72o and kind of removes all sportsmanship from the game.
Would be nice to see a LOT more players from this site next time round to balance things out a little more.

I couldn't get on unfortunatley as i thought the last one was great.

Kidgloves - Some people have the poker window smaller and don't see any of the writing going on so a few people wouldn't have known a thing.

I tend to stay quiet through the whole competition and chat afterwards about it all.
Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands

    Default next freeroll

We're planning on hosting another Freeroll in 2 weeks or thereabouts, same format as this one.

Sorry to hear you felt a bit unwelcome kidgloves, we'll try to address the balance by getting a lot more members from these forums to sign up. It's easy to feel a bit left out as all the Bristol Poker Meetup players actually play poker together in each others houses, so they know each other very well and by their first names rather than screen-names.

As the fruit machine part of these forums is by far and away the most popular part of the site, maybe it would be an idea to post a message there before the next one to try and get some more people on board. If we can get more people on board from the gambling.co.uk forum, we could hold a seperate regular freeroll exclusive to members of gambling.co.uk and not have to combine it with Bristol Poker Meetup members. As it stands though, if we had the freeroll exclusive to gambling.co.uk it would have attracted just 4 players at the kick off time - not enough to have a meaningful game.

Sory I didn't make it, got waylaid doing other stuff! People who tell their mates 'well played' when they win a hand due to some stupid luck always make me laugh, might as well get a tattoo on your forehead saying 'im f***in stooopid!' You get a shedload of them on ladbrokes lower value tables, and the ones who think 'lol' means lots of luck!!!!!!!!!

Ill be in next time almost certainly!
