Default Forum vs Forum tourney - seconds out, round 2. Registration Thread. - Monday 8th May!

Who wants to represent the gambling.co.uk forum in the poker.co.uk sponsored Forum vs. Forum Challenge?

Date: Monday 8th May 2006 at 8.15pm UK time (software time: 19:15pm GMT).

We didn't do so well in the first heat, lets hope we can overturn a mammoth Punters Lounge lead in the second round (or at least score some points! ) and return some pride to the forum!

We know we're the best, so lets prove it!

    Cost $2 + $0.20 to enter. $1000 value added by Poker.co.uk.

    Event details are here

Oh i also think that idea for a nations type event would be great.

Even better if we could make it a live event where the best 6 players from each forum play.

Only problem i could see would be logistics on the event as i see not everyone would be from the cider swilling south west.

However even online could potentially be fun and i am sure you could maybe set something up Matt.

Yes, the plan was to make it a live event, with the prize pool covering entry to the main event for all 6 teams, and expenses - travel and accomodation.

I'll have to think of the logistics of this - buy ins, event frequency etc. and see what I come up with.

I've invited members of Bristol Poker Meetup to come and join our team for this event. So, if a few people sign the thread with only 1 post, go easy on them - it's for a good cause!

The qualification criteria for these players is they have to have posted on the Bristol Poker Meetup Boards, or attended at least one home game with the group.
