The prizefund was indeed $360 and will be paid as such, but the ballance shown in the leaderboard is exactly that, a ballance. The $10 buyins have been deducted from the totals for each player.

Its more representative that way.

how many games left in this season, just wondering if i start playing now wether there will be enough games left to make a good enough impression on the leaderboard or wether better to wait until next season.

There are still 6 games left, as other games have no counted due to not enough runners. The next game is January 9th.

It's worth playing anyway even if you couldn't make an impression on the leaderboard, as the game is only $10+$1 to play with $200 added value to the prize pool.
