    ha, that's okay

Just a quick heads up re: that link. Don't paste it into a browser and save the resultant link.
    e.g. if you paste this:
    HTML Code:
    http://www.gamblingnetwork.com/forums/search.php?do=getdaily
into the browser, it'll redirect very quickly to a page like this:
    HTML Code:
    http://www.gamblingnetwork.com/forums/search.php?searchid=1563
The searchid is only valid for that session, so the next time you visit the link it'll display an error message. So, rather you need to 'organise bookmarks' (if you're on FF) or whatever the equivalent for the browser you're using, and add it manually so that the link is always this:
    HTML Code:
    http://www.gamblingnetwork.com/forums/search.php?do=getdaily

I don't understand why when you post in a thread it doesn't show you was the last to post in it straight away. I posted in one thread an hour ago (probably less) and I'm still not showing up as the last poster.

I've not noticed that myself. Have you tried pressing the Refresh button?

10/10 wp very impressed Mr Mango..
I ran in to that very issue when i looked at the forum today, and your fix is exactly the the right one. I also noticed that if you try a search and it comes empty, the "error" page offers a "gets post in the last 24hrs" link.
I am off now to try and find something else to moan about...
(In fact I do have probs with fontery in this entry box, it is fine when posted or post preview, but when writing a post the font is horrible pantiness, but I guess I will be able to find the solution to that myself with a bit of digging)

Well this is happening all the time and now I am refreshing it is working, but annoying. Another things from another forum is that they have a little box in the corner in which they say who has quoted you recently, which is a good tool.

It sounds like you might need to clear your cache, as I think you are the only one with this problem.

I like the sound of the quote box thing. Can you give me a link to where you've seen it, so I can take a look?

    Ah probably about right.

Yeh can give you the link, but I doubt you will see the wuotebox thing as you will not be a member (you're not a student clearly and doubt you're a member) so you will not been quoted.

    The Student Room

I hardly use the site to be fair, I only use it to inform the student of some information, but they actually ask for money if you want to use the forum without seeing advertisements!! And use the chat!
