    Default Blackjack rules

    I saw people in casinos betting on other players' hands. What's that particular type of betting called? What are the rules for this kind of betting? Thanks.

    I believe it's just called 'Betting Behind'

    The rules I've seen played in my local casinos are pretty simple;
    If you're betting behind someone else's hand they still have 100% control of the hand.
    They decided whether to Hit, Split, Double or Stand.
    If they split you have the choice to put your bet behind just one of the hands, or to bet the same amount behind the second hand.
    If they double down you can chose to also double your bet or not, but you can't double if the player doesn't.

    Remember that different casinos may have different rules though - so best to just ask one of the casino staff first!

    So basically if the player has bad skills, then you are screwed! I don't understand why someone would let others play with their own money. Does anyone know? I believe that in betting behind, if the amount of you are betting matches or is more than the player, then the two of you negotiate how to play the hand in question? Is that true or not?

    I would LOVE to play a game like that if I knew all the players were good.
