Professional Blackjack by Stanford wong - Not very useful for a UK player but lots of interesting charts and good introduction to hi-lo count system

Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich - True story of the MIT blackjack team who took vegas for millions.

Blackjack Attack, Third Edition by Don Schlesinger - Covers almost everything your going to want to learn, optimal betting, camouflage, risk analysis, team play, systems comparison etc

The World's Greatest Blackjack Book: by Lancelot Humble,Ken Cooper.
This is very good - gives a good introduction to the game and offers plenty of anecdotes and progresses to advance concepts and counting systems.

Quite a lot of book for your money.

erm................... seems this was never about blackjack books after all - just read the description of the book mentioned in the original thread.

While organizing an ice carnival to raise funds for her pen pal's school library, Trixie investigates a mysterious problem facing Regan and a run of thefts and accidents in the neighborhood

    Fisher was indeed a fish.
