Being more of an 'offline' gambler myself, I wonder sometimes if it is safe to bet online...I see gambling sites advertised online all the time,
casinos, poker sites, sports bookies, etc, which online casino sites are the most trusted?

In terms of highly trusted gambling sites, a good starting point would be here. Most of the sites featured in this network are audited by prestigious firms, i.e. Price Waterhouse Cooper's, (probably the best-known and most trusted auditing company there is). So, whilst there are occasional rogue casinos out there, it's advisable to stick with the trusted names. Usually common sense comes in handy with this sort of thing

I'm just playing on a site now and there are almost 10,000 people playing on over 1400 tables....if there were any problems with security, it would have reared it's head by now. These gambling sites make too much money to jeopardize it with foolishness.

I have no doubt in my mind that betting through the internet is safe. But - as with everything in life - you have to be careful. Best bet is to go with a well-known, highly reputable online casino, you simply can't go wrong in that case.

Yeah it is very safe as long as your not playing at some little cheezy gambling site. Most of the big sites are regulated and are very secure.

If you pay by credit card, most of them protect you for any online transactions anyway, so I think its a pretty safe thing to do

Playing online is safe if u dont end up at some scam site. I have been playing for last three months now... and It sure is risky loosing money lol.. but when u have good luck u can always make a lot of money. and Its leagal too in most of the countries..

Stick to the more reputable online casinos - such as the well known Party Poker, and I think you'll be right

If you get any sent to you in the email unsolicited - avoid 8O

I agree with doublebluff that gambling.co.uk is a good starting point. Common sense must also be exercised always.

if you really want to see if a casino is reputable type in linkcasino site url) in google and see the kind of links it has to the site...if they are low quality then there is a problem.

When a site has 250 links from sites that are just a white backround with links they are probably not the best for you...

I ould say stick with the recomendations of respectable site.

    Thank you,

    George Christodoulou
