'working' girls

hi there,
hope somebody can help me perhaps they even have experience of this 'happening'.

i have a girlfriend who 'works' in 'casino' and other 'gambling' establishments and im very 'curious' - as it might be normal to understand, what exactly her 'role' is. I do not frequent casinos so its more difficult to imagine what EXACTLY it is she does.

she gave me various information.

this is what she told me.

that she goes to casino's (moscow) and is 'working with professional gamblers. Her 'job is to 'identify' and make 'contact' with punters (who have money) and in some way to 'encourage', 'coax' them to play on certain tables or to make the situation not so clear for them, so that the 'odds' are stacked against them.

so im interersted to know, HOW she might be doing this.

she's not particulary happy to do this and shes quite bored to make conversation with people, and she mb has a tinge of guilt about it, but in her answer, 'she helps people to do what they want to do'

she gets a 'commission' from the winning that her 'friends' the professionals make from the people who cannot see what is 'going on'

is what she is doing, so 'illegal'.

could she get into trouble if the casino understood what was happening?

does anybody have any experience of this?

I did have a mate once who did do something similair though, when he was a teenager he got paid by some gypsies to walk around the fair with a massive teddy bear and say he won it from their stall, actually ive said that wrong it wasnt gypsies it was drug dealers, and change the words 'teddy bear' for 8th of brown, come to think of it itwasnt even a stall either it was a crack house

It happens there with the girl robert de niro falls in love with. There is no law against this happening, that i know of anyway. And this is happening in casino's all over the place not just moscow, nevada even blackpool!

They hang around punters, being friendly or just looking tasty and they bug chips and money out of them, if they're winning and have a lot of chips, they even tend to steal them.

But dont worry too much, casino security HAS stepped up alot technology wise, but the casinos wont ban these girls because its these girls that bring the punters in regularly.

for sure if the casino, understand what she's doing, they would ban her and her friend.

However sure she's not 'stealing' or anything like that.

she's doing this in quite a clever way and actually nobody can understand what she is doing.(although Im quite surprised by this)
She knows she has to be very careful and certainly doesn't attempt to exploit or take advantage of criminal types. She, i dnt know if its correct to say this, becuase im not sure how she actually does it, 'targets', in her words, people who really just want to SPEND money - and she helps them do this, and to give this oppurtunity to her friend who will profit from this on the table.

SOME people might think she is there as a hooker, others will think that she is there JUST to spend time with all the money that she has (actually this is true, there are young pretty girls who r NOT hookers, and have money, and are there NOT to get anything from anyone, just to spend time - this is Moscow - i cannot say if this situation exists in other places), others think that she is the sister of the guy she is with.

If she is employed by the casino she will be a bit like concierge for a hotel i would think. If they want a drink they get it , they want something off the menu they get it. Same as a private table (as long as they are spending enough). Her job is basically to give the punter whatever he wants within reason, although some do give extras .

If ya mrs grabs a shower whenever she gets n from work i would be worried.
