As we all know, a few poker programmes on TV sparked off a huge worldwide interest in poker, which was readily catered to by B+M casinos and of course, hugely by the internet.
No we have BJ tournaments that have started to be broadcast such as UBT.
Personally i dont see why anyone would want to play in something which basically comes down to pure luck (BJ is a house game played against the bank after all). What do others think? Next big craze or soon forgotten?
I don't think it will be the next big craze. For starts it requires very little skill and its not exactly exciting to watch or play. But then again who would have expected poker to get as big as it is!
Well that was my opinion too. It seems to be getting very big in the US and a few other countries so i wouldnt be surprised if it starts to hit our shores too. Im of the same mind as you though in that i dont see the appeal for spectators or players.
Betting systems constitute one of the oldest delusions of gambling history. Betting systems votaries are spiritually akin to the proponents of perpetual motion machines, butting their heads against the second law of thermodynamics.

I must say that I was really surprised playing at these new tournements...
I am an “Online card player” and my desktop has seen lots of casino icons before, but this time, I think that its gonna be the next big thing.
You can find in a minute which tournament you want to join from a wide variety of tournaments to choose from. Also, the information boxes are very clear, no extra information. Very easy to be familiar with tournament registration procedure.
I recommend you to try this game.
I am sure that you will think the same as I do.
Cheers,
Daniel
Hi all,
I don't know about you guys, but recently I am playing a lot at get21, it has a great application but not too many players.
But I am playing a lot in the $5 giveaway tournaments and on some of the regular tournaments and I had some really good experience. It is hard to discipline yourself not to bet to high because then you lose. You have to wait until the last hand and then put all the money. Usually it works...
I don't agree with croup this game does take a lot of skill and I can see when I play with the high rollers they usually win me over, because I am a rookie.
What do you guys think?
Great site croup, thanks very enjoyable and gives me a break from poker, and its free, nearly booked my ticket for the final,i think this will take off in a big way, thanks again.

Blackjack on TV is as boring as championship dominos, why on earth would anyone watch it. There is absolutely no competetive edge to it, no matter how much a hand is for.
Although I'm much more a casino player than poker, I rally can't see the long-lasting appeal.
Having said that - it would probably suit me cos I hate it when people bluff me out of hands at poker!![]()
(Couldn't do that with blackjack).
