The reason given was the 'uncertainty in the future of online gaming' following the signing of the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act) by George bush in October 2006.

Though what this had to do with Harrods is a mystery to me as the UIGEA only effects the USA, and Harrods never took USA players anyway...

Same thing happened with The Ritz Club online casino.
Perhaps they realised their specialty lie more with executive high-street shopping than gambling!

I don't know how long Harrods casino existed, as I only signed up there in January 2005. My claim to fame is I made them change their bonus terms when I found a loop-hole in one of their bonuses which allowed me to make quite a bit of profit by using a 'certain Roulette strategy'

Harrods accounts have now been merged into Red Lounge, so players will not lose any funds.
Ritz Club switched from CryptoLogic to Playtech software late 2006, and soon afterwards Ritz pulled out & it became Club on the Park.

I shall miss Harrods, but I must say thanks for the £464 profit I made from their bonuses!

if we use signature, we must do backlink? And how must we inform administration where we linked to gambling.co.uk?

Currently at the bottom of my home page & about 10 other pages.
I am currently working though updating all the pages on my site & it will be on all 50-ish pages within the next week or so.

I'm also adding a special 'links' page which will have a full description of this site.
    It's not finished yet, but it is there if you want to take a look;

Thank you for taking such a keen interest in my site!

KK I think they would appreciate the link more with it pointing to the main site and not the forums, a second forum link is always handy though

A valid point - I will change that on my next update.

BTW, are you and Alexross admin or mods here at Gambling.co.uk?
Just wondering because the rules say:
    12. Your forum signature may not exceed 3 lines and 200 characters in length, and may contain no more than two links.
and you both have more than 2 links...

I just checked that cos I thought it was odd... The only place with the link to the forum is on my 'links page' (intentional).
All the ones on the bottom of the pages are to the home page: gambling.co.uk

When I've finished my updates that will be about 50 links - hopefully enough to keep the admin happy!
