    Default Windows Update

    I'm having trouble downloading any patches from Windows update, all patches either fail to download or fail to install. Tried loads of stuff...downloading them as seperates from different site...turned off firewall/antivirus, followed Microsofts remedy and removed some update dll's.
    Still no joy. Anybody got any ideas ?

    There is a problem apparently with XP version 2 and the update with some corruption in the folder management. Don't know exactly whats happening but will keep looking
