    i'm loving this

Have you thought about leaving a little bit right at the entrance to the trap to try and entice them in? Like a starter or a free sample

When I was at university we had a mouse and I tried this, leaving a trail of bait leading up to the trap. Unfortunately this mouse was too clever to fall for my ploy and it just ate everything up to the trap and then ran away.

I'm concerned that by doing that the mouse will outwit me and gorge itself on the freebie tasters without literally walking into my trap.

I want to remove the thing, not provide it with a luxurious existance.

Mango: Anyone watching Graeme Norton? They've got that actress who was in that accident recently! Reece...
    s4ooter: Witherspoon?
    Mango: No, with a car.

Aye, the pint glass only just fitted over it - it had to squeeze it's legs in a bit. I've just liberated it to the communal garden behind my flat. I hope it doesn't decide to come back!

I took a film just after I uploaded pics, but I'm kind of nervous humming and have a cough, so doubt I'll upload it (unless I can ditch the audio).

Is 'nervous humming' code for squealing like a girl?

I had a panicky moment during the capture of mine where I dropped it behind some drawers and I couldn't find it! I would have slept on the sofa instead of my room if I didn't spot it again lol

If you pardon the pun, this mouse is taking the mickey.

It has so far evaded the tasty nibble in the humane trap.

So today I bought a couple of killer traps. I have loaded one of them with peanut butter.

At night, I can hear the mouse scurrying in the wall. It wakes me up and it needs to go.

I've put the death trap alongside the humane trap so the mouse can chose whether it should live and be transported to some desirable location, or be squished. It's a little like having a travel agency next to that Dignitas Clinic in Geneva. If it chooses one over the other then that is nothing to do with me and so should not affect my karma.
