Default Sky 1 looking for self confessed lucky & unlucky people

Would you like to take part in a SKY1 TV SERIES?

***WE ARE LOOKING FOR SELF CONFESSED LUCKY PEOPLE AND UNLUCKY PEOPLE FOR A SKY 1 PSYCHOLOGY SERIES***

SKY1 are producing an exciting, fun & intelligent psychology TV series.
In each episode, our expert team of psychologists and a neuroscientist will analyse an aspect of human behaviour, such as power, sexual attraction and humour with a series of psychological experiments, stunts and clips, involving real people.

For our programme focussing on the psychology of winning we are looking for a group of people who are self confessed lucky people and a group of people who are self confessed unlucky people.

Do you find that luck seems to be on your side in life and things generally go the way you want, or does everything seem to go wrong, and no luck ever seems to come your way? If you fit into one of these categories and are free for one days filming in either the week of the 30th November or the week of the 7th December then please contact us ASAP.

Call us to get an application form on 0207 324 0723.

We look forward to hearing from you.

This actually sounds pretty interesting, so even though the poster didn't ask before posting this, I won't delete it as spam.

Does anyone think they are really lucky / unlucky?

I think in life I'm pretty lucky overall. Though at cards, and in particular poker, I'm really unlucky.

I reckon all of us are pretty lucky. You hear all the stuff in the media about bombs in Iraq or famine in Africa and here we are living comfortable lives with only bills to worry about.

    boring.

I once shot straight through a matchstick from about 8m away with an air rifle on my first attempt. It was so far away that I could only just make out the phosphorous with my 20-20 (probably) vision and just had to aim below it. That was lucky. Being born in an affluent society is boring.

On a similar theme, I once took out a running hare at dusk with a single shot from a rifle at a fair distance whilst I was perched on the back of a quadbike which gave me very little lateral movement.

I reckon I was luckier than the hare that day.
