I think we need a new sticky thread,some1 with a more....creative mind,can come up with the title,something along the lines of..."wtf is this retard thinking?" or some other title about the french being calling station muppets (yes ive got something against french garlic eating poker players)

Will give you an example, Playing 1/2,and ive got this utter muppet at my table(yes hes french) really getting on my nerves,never putting a hand down etc. Made a few raises,and hes won the last 5 pots against me, without showing 1,hes pissing me off. Get ak in sb,raise it etc obv he calls, flop comes qc 9c 3d ,i check,garlic bets(obv) i decide im going to check raise him,i commit myself to the pot, he insta shuvs,i think bollox,hes actually got a hand this time, but ive got to call,he turns over k 8(off suit) and hits runner runner flush????????what is he thinking????

So back to the title,can we have a sticky thread,where we can moan at utter moronic,stupid play,where we can vent some anger,and maybe have a good laugh aswell.

Anyone else notice how bad the french are?

That sounds a good idea but i think i could possible fill this whole board with stories similair to yours! (Although no French theme lol). Right now im going through one of those poker nightmare runs when everytime im way ahead idiots hit miracle cards, ive actually got this little ditty written down the last 5 times ive had pocket aces (Tourney play) they have been cracked, im not talking flat callin here and getting outdrawn im talking 4/5 have been all in with a healthy chip stack pre flop and idiots calling with supid hands win, this one particular springs to mind an old guy who regularly plays in our tourney (we call him Doyle for a laugh) i rease 4x bb in mid pos everyone fold hes bb calls, as he does 90% of ANY raise no joke! Flop comes 10 7 4 rainbow, i know he plays absolute muck so im not even gonna get creative here i push for something like 8x the pot he insta calls with Q 9 os! Then proceeds to come out with a quality statement "im going for the flush! The whole table bursts out laughing, this guy is deadly serious and gets annoyed at why folk are laughing at him! Obviously he goes onto hit runner runner straight and im out the tourney, his next words of wisdom are "see i knew i played it right!" I couldnt help maself with an ironic "well played", the worst of it is i run the tourney and im a designated dealer so i cant blame anyone but myself! Its really got to the stage now i just laugh but really deep down its p1ssin me right off!

ok ive got one, 10 handed cash game blinds 50p £1, early position with pocket J's, need to get rid of alot of people, raise 5x big blind, big blind calls. Flop J-8-3 rainbow, he bets, i re-raise 4x his bet, he goes allin, i call with a massive grin on my face, he has Q-9 hes gone allin looking for a 10, turn comes a 2, river comes an A. Im thinking yessss, then realised hes hit a hidden runner runner flush. Then he says in chat box, 'thanks for stopping by, cya later' i felt like throwing the comp out the window.

some tosser yesterday 4 betting me at PLO then calling about 50BB's on the flop with no pair against my aces full and hitting a straight flush.

Then types "serves you right " and leaves the table.

That was the end of my night lol.

I can honestly say im seriously thinking of giving up the lower stakes live games i play in my local club, most experienced players say its good to sit down at a table of fish, which in theory is every decent poker players dream but not in the games i play! I defo would rather sit at a table with average to good players who can actually lay down a hand to a decent bet! Dont get me wrong i would play cash games with these muppets all day long but in tourney play im getting sucked out on far too often for it to be a coincedence! Ive been playing poker now for around 10 years and ive had to change my game somewhat to the way i used to play (VERY TAG) which was the most profitable but now it seems that bingo poker is the way forward in my parts! This rant is all based on low limit tourney play mind you, im still very profitably in the cash games we play but surprise surprise the muppets only want to play the tourney games so 90% of the time thats what we end up playing, rant over! lol

I'd love to know what makes fench players play so bad,any suggestions? is it too much garlic? was it the humiliation of surrendering in the 2nd world war? why they never surrender a hand now????
