The Road to SnowFest

Today, I'm mainly going to be playing Pokerstars - and hoping to avoid getting muffed by their infamous river card - in my quest to qualify for EPT Snowfest 2010.

To start with, I'm going to attempt the Steps system. I'm going to start on Step D (€82 buy-in).

All going well, here's the route to the finals:

Step D (€82): 1st,2nd = Step E; 3rd,4th,5th = Step D.
Step E (€215): 1st,2nd = Step F; 3rd = Step E; 4th,5th = Step D; 6th = Step C
Step F (€700): 1st, 2nd = Step G; 3rd, 4th = Step F; 5th, 6th = Step E
Step G (€2,100): 1st, 2nd, 3rd = EPT SnowFest Package + €600; 4th = €350 (so back to step E I think).

My nickname on 'Stars is Mango99. It's gonna be a slog, but here goes.

First game I played Step D, and finished 5th. So, Step D again here I go!

I'm also going to play the €32.70 Turbo Shootout @ 3.30pm for tonight's €530 qualifier. And whether or not I make that, I'm going to have a punt at the €530 Final @ 6.30pm.

Just won step D. Next Step E (€215). 1st and 2nd in that gives me F, 3rd E. 4th and 5th D which would be a hassle, and 6th = C (meh!).

Quick update. Got pokerstarred all over the place in the shootout, but still managed to come 2nd on the first STT versus a terrible, and very luck donk. Unfortunately, only 1st in each got to play the final round. What a waste of an hour

A couple of mates called round just as I busted the shootout game, so we spent a couple of hours playing Guitar Hero lol. They've left now, so I'm back on the 'stars. Playing the €530 Freezeout at the mo (just started).
