It's quite difficult to imagine that he thinks a bet on the river will make you fold if he is bluffing but he's probably a numpty and is thinking on first level only. Call.

I kinda agree with DaMatrix it's either a bluff or a hand that you can't beat. Which puts you in a bad spot. True it's the rebuy period still, and if you call and lose you still got about 10k in chips...

My question is more about bet sizing though. He donk bets 100 into 1050 on the flop and you raise to 1350, sure okay you want to protect your hand but at the same time are inflating the pot. When he calls and checks to you on the turn shoving is a better play. If he flopped two pair or better then you lose, but maybe he doesn't want to draw to his flush for whatever. This eliminates the problem on the river.

The way you played it I would muck it on the end to a 6k bet, and save my chips even during the rebuy.

Yea that's unlucky for sure, and you made him pay on all streets, but here is the deal. At this level the $1 rebuy people are going to gamble-gamble in the early stages and hey "it's only a dollar." Yea know what I mean. Hence, why I would pile the turn or fold the river.

I don't think you see people bluffing to much in that spot on the end. (at this level of play)

There is no meta-game in play.

Now, I don't fault you for calling, cuz of your hand, but really all it is, is a one pair hand for 6k more. It is the best one pair hand, but how many hands can you beat here?

Good news is that these type of players will put a lot of chips in bad all the time, all you have to do is keep pushing and staying aggro.
