    Default KEM playing cards

I've been looking for a while for a couple of packs of KEM cards with the arrow design.

I've managed to find a couple of packs of the wider "Poker Size" KEM cards on ebay, but am unable to find the same in bridge-size. (Bridge-Size is they size they use in all UK casinos and are the ones it is generally recommended to play poker with due to the ease of shuffling the slightly smaller cards).

Does anyone know of a good UK-based stockist (or an overseas one that will post to the UK and not take 6 weeks doing it!)?

I'd like to be able to get the old-style KEM cards (2004 and before), and not the ones that started production this year; as the new cards are apparently noticably inferior to the originals.

    Thanks
    Matt

As far as I'm aware there was a large shortage of stock due to the manufacturers not being able to keep up with demand. The only cards I could get a hold of before Xmas where Royals.

You may be out of luck trying to find any older cards. If you do, mention it here.

I ordered the Poker sized arrow-backed cards off e-bay in the end and am very pleased with them.

Infact, I prefer the width of them compared to the bridge-size now.

Cost me £40 for 2 packs - 1 red, 1 blue, but hopefully they'll last me for a few years..

I got some Copag 100% plastic Cards recently from www.pokershop.dk

They were very nice and bright , slidy and bend right back no problem.
But thicker than the kems and not as nice feeling.

But at about £14 for 2 packs inc postage they are a nice cheaper alternative to kems. The Royals apparently chip after a while...

    Default Kems

I'm always on the lookout for cheap Kems - I think this guy probably has the last pack out there, but £47? Ouch...

Yep, that's the guy I bought mine from. I managed to get them for £40 - still expensive as heck I know! I noticed he put the price up to £45 then £47 as he progressively sold out...
