    Default Slowest Support Response Times

    I entered a tournament last night with William Hill ($20 + $2).

However, I recieved no confirmation. A confirmation message is usually displayed on screen with that you have to click "ok" to, along with a tick next to the tournament you've entered.

I tried entering the same tournament again, but got a message saying something along the lines of "The system is processing a previous transaction. Please wait 2 minutes and try again".

I waited 2 minutes and attempted to enter the tournament again and got a message saying I had insufficient funds in my account - therefore the first request must have been processed. I checked my account statement, and this confirmed this..

I emailed William Hill with this problem at 10pm last night, but at the time of writing I have still not recieved a reply. I've had experience of other poker rooms (Aztec Riches, poker.co.uk) and these have all responded much quicker - usually within 20 to 30 minutes..

It also appears to be the case that William Hill's live support feature doesn't work.

    Default Quickest Support Response Times

Well, I phoned William Hill in the end. They said they'd investigate, and I was credited back with the $22.00 within 20 minutes of calling.

Seems even if this technological age, the old contact methods are still sometimes the best
