    Unhappy Tough Bad Beat

Had myself a bad beat yesterday.

Was playing the freeroll on BET365 (Prima) and had about 4,500 in chips

My hand was a pair of 7's I was BB and raised it up

The flop came 4 6 7 (all different suits)

Some one bet small, someone called and I when all in as I wanted to hopefully win what was already a big pot.

Both players called someone had AQ and the other player a pair of 4's.

So I was looking forward to my 13,000+ pot. When disaster struck.

Turn was something like a 9, but wait for it.........the river was another 4!!!!!!

Arrrg, my three 7's were crushed. I thought I was home and dry when my three sevens were the highest cards on the flop.

Don't think I could have played this any better as I wanted the big pot that was there on the flop.

I guess it's just my bad beat of the week....

Tough break with the added irony that you had just as good a chance of making four 7’s.

Someone could have made the straight off the flop, but that was a 1/68 which is even more unlikely than the 1/46 of hitting that fourth 4.
