I have to admit to getting heavily into one of these today (£250 into).
It was the new breed..3 cabs not unlike party time/RWB/crazy gang with a top cab of big reels. Why was I playing it? Well I was having one of those days where I just couldn't wake up so had to play something that wasn't very demanding on skill or intellect. Previous experience in my local has been favourable..partly because it was installed as new and most likely the % was pushed up for a few weeks to get favourable views before the inevitable % backstab. Today was a different location..same company but in retrospect a bad choice as it had been in a few weeks I found out so the % was probs already turned down. 1 hrs 30 mins in not one JP and £170 over the back. By the 4hr mark I was so bored I didn't care and wrote the loss off. Be warned about the very large pay cycle should you come across one of these units. On a good note a £25 Spiker was overwhelmingly generous tonight so between that and some scraps off a couple of vivid's I've only done £110 today. You win some........

These 'joined' machines seem to be springing up all over the place. Where once there were 'skillful' bandits like Big Bucks, Impulse, Roller Coaster etc. we now have the biggest load of bullcrappy low-techs with gameplay designed to please the blue rinse brigade. I noticed on Party Time the top feature can sometimes fob you off with 2 nicker and it can take about £30 and give NOTHING but in fairness I did once have no win available on nudges and it nudged in £25 after the timeout, and on £15 Red, White and Blue (I think that's the title) I seen someone get £135 in one continuous streak. The worse thing about these bandits is they can get addictive once you start because there's no real skill required so be careful.
