Just sharing what happened to me yesterday.

I was waiting for my train at the station and decided to stick my last few quid change in a Pie Factory 2, I have had no experiance on this machine, but have on PF1. The first quid played and nothing, the second quid backed and said let em spin (I held 2 heads in view twice on the first quid).

So I let it spin and it threw me on the board, the strange (to me) part was it immediately said *something* streak on the LCD, the Pie spins went mad and threw £15 on the cashpot before I even pressed one button on the machine  I didn't understand how it did what it did, then a super spins button was flashing and it said on the board "2 super spins for £1" was going to give it a try but my train pulled up so I took the £15 and it came out of the machine straight away (no banking!?), then the last 75p gave nothing.

Few questions, what was the streak and does it usually appear how it did?
    Why no banking?
Was it worth spending the £1 for the 2 super spins?

    Cheers

    Pie Factory 2

From what i can remember it always spins in some wins at the start of the feature which puts you in an initail position. The amount offered will vary depending on what state the machine is in (often very low £1/2).

2 super spins for £1 means if you press super spin it will take 50p off the cash pot each time. If it doesnt want to offer any more than what it already has, each super spin will offer nothing or 50p and when you reach 0 its end of feature. I think you get extra spins by spinning on the board but i cant remember.

Chances are if you took the 2 spins you will have ended up with about the same as what you already had (£15) although for the sake of losing a pound i would have gave it a go.

    No Banking?

Plenty of machines do this, the supplier can select wether it auto dumps the coins or banks them like normal. Pubs can often select which way they would like it.

If it auto dumps its easier for staff to recognise when someone has won a large amount (as you cant collect small amounts at once). Auto dump is a nightmare for the player IMO. Especially when playing with emptiers. As you can imagine, staff get very suspicous when £25 thunders into the payout tray time and time again.
