The following is open for debate..what are the merits of playing the connect 4 feature ?
Scenario...connect 4 is available and at £25 if you win. Firstly..to get it to offer £25 obviously needs some forcing and the same on a Pie Factory or similar will give you an easy JP. Connect 4 goes one further by making you 'win' the JP it is ready to pay anyway by beating the computer at the game and of course adds the extra option that you could and probably will lose if not a connect 4 pro..I'm sure someone will tell me there is a strategy to stick to within the game..a bit like following a 0's and X's strategy and that will bring sucess every time but for now let's assume not.
You could play a strategy not unlike other vivid's which works but some have mentioned why not take JP normally anyway....if it want's to repeat it will...well think of a PF or 6 SH...how many times have you seen JP off cash trail repeat as opposed to getting a repeat off the hots? Apply the same logic to connect 4 then surely it's worth taking connect 4 all the time..but at the risk of losing when you could have had a certain JP other ways....My Jury is still out on this one.
OK see what you are saying, but if you lose at C4, then surely then next feature is red anyway, so you once again have another shot at it!
Tried fucking it up till it repeats and gives you another go, then you have had a repeat chance and should fuck this up!
Then when you get it again, the next repeat you are getting is for £50! It is easy to beat the machine (almost everytime, we are all human and cannot always win!) but you have to have a method I would agree.
Where as Pie on the HOTS can give £25 and then anything from another £25 and more, or just £25 a jack shit. So this make Pie able for £25 and then anything, where as C4 is £25 or £50 or £75, and surely if ou wreck it enought £100!

But if you keep doing what I am, £25 for £50 then you are gonna be happy, 2 machines, had them a total of 7 times in 3 days, gotta be happy with it!
After checking some sites for connect 4 strategies and practice progs (sad I know) they all say that as long as you go first and choose the center column and play to a certain strategy you are certain to win every time.
Zorro Jnr, I understand your logic but if you fuck up C4 until you get no repeat then play to win for next board...are you certain to get the repeat?
Hots don't always repeat if the previous hots didn't repeat...especially if you are following on using 'the method' when the last person played 'the method' aswell.
I understand, did play it the other day, with "the method" and got JP, and JP REPEAT, so got £75, don't know whether the repeat awas luck or whether if I had taken C4 then would have got a repeat on that aswell, just dunno!
After reading these posts I thought i would try something a little different, but not major!
JP, red board, take JP instead of C4, repeat, nice £75. Thats twice in two days and only tried it twice!!!!!!!
People (esecially Kid), try it and let me kow how you get on. I think the best way it to take JP instead of C4 for £25 on the second board!?!?!?!?!??!!?

On the JP and not by taking C4 for £25, or on either. Coz if it eiter then take the JP coz you don't always win on C4, esecially if you have had a few beers!
Watched some guy last night playing "the method", and instead of taking the feature he took knockouts and collected £1! Then the normal, on the red board he to JP and got the repeat, saw him do two! I have had it repeat myself, just not that way.
Anyone shed any light?
