lol epic fail all round then? I really though Colchester was a banker aswell.
Apparently Bent's goal for Sunderland was deflected in off a beach ball!! Looking forward to seeing that on MOTD later![]()
Tuesday night football will see a lot of home wins by the looks of the fixtures.
Value Treble:
Ipswich v Watford
Ipswich used to be a very solid team at home, but I think their winless run will come to a stop when they play Watford. On paper Ipswich are a top half team with ease, whilst Watford aren't the best team in the CCC. I'd go with Ipswich to get the win. 23/20
Leicester v Crystal Palace
Both of these teams are performing well above expectations in the league, but I expect Leicester to be too strong at home, and have plenty of goals in them, really can't see Palace getting anything more than a point here. 10/11
Sheffield Wednesday v Preston NE
As you know Sheffield Wednesday are my team, and I always try to avoid backing my own team when betting, but once again I fancy us to beat Preston. Every season we play Preston off the park, and always seem to draw. As I said earlier we hardly concede at home, and can't really see Preston changing that, if they do it won't be no more than one. Our star player will also be back, and without him we eased to a 2-0 win v Coventry, so it's quite good. The only down point on this is being the fact that Preston have just got beaten 4-0, so they may be told to pull their socks up. 21/20
£10 = around £85-£87ish.
There are other teams that will be bankers, but it's not worth it to be bet on bankers. Although you could get an extra 50% if you go for the 1/2 West Brom to beat Swansea. There are other teams that could get a result, such as Blackpool at home to Sheff Utd, but I don't think Blackpool will be good enough. Although Sheff Utd do have a lot of players missing. It might also be worth throwing Manchester United into this at 10/11, who are away to CSKA Moscow.
nice win aaron1005.
also decent argument for your mid week games.
International matches are a no for me i perfer a single half time full time bet better odds than betting on multiple selections
So, I've got £150 to play with 'cos of the free bets from Skybet, I'm trying not to go too silly with it so it'll last a couple of months (assuming I keep losing)
My midweek selections:
VfB Stuttgart v Sevilla
CSKA Moscow v Man. Utd
S****horpe v Newcastle
£5 on that pays about £50-60. Man U have got a weakened team so just put £5 as its a bit dodgy
And just for a crack I put £2 on Chelsea and Liverpool both to lose at home, can't really see it happening but it pays out £110 anyway
EDIT: S.c.u.n.t.horpe lol
1 team let me down, although I did suspect that Blackpool could turn Sheff Utd over.
And LOL @ Liverpool.
