    Default Football Bet Thread!

Following Dice Mans EPIC performance in that earlier thread I thought it'd be fun to post our football bets in here, to showcase our prediction talents/failures.

I did this one for today:

    Finland V Wales (HOME WIN)
    Ukraine V England (AWAY WIN)
    Ireland V Italy (AWAY WIN)

    £10 @ 10/1.

England game could be risky as we're already qualified but Capello says he wants to maintain the 100% record

I signed up for a new account with Boylesports and they had a "bet £10 get a free £10 bet" thing on so I should be able to recoup my £10 with the free bet if this one doesn't come in

The next good value bet is New zealand Vs Bahrain in the next round of the asia/oceania play off. The winner goes to the world cup. Bahrain have never been there and NZ were there something like 40 years ago.

Bahrain team have got a great coach and the past 10 years the royal fmaily have been heavily involved (read as financially involved) in the countries football...

Therefore: Bahrain to win.... bet away
You just had to look huh! FAIL

I usually have quite a few bets at the weekend, consisting of £5, 5 teams. I think I am going to be having trebles from now on.

    Treble:
    QPR (11/10) v Preston
    Sheff Wed (4/5) v Coventry
    Bournemouth (5/4) v Accrington (B'mouth are away.)

    £10 returns £84 (ish)

5 teams (teams in bold to win):
    Stoke 23/20 v West Ham
    B'pool 4/5 v Plymouth - Think B'pool are a certainty.
Sheff Wed 5/6 v Coventry City
    S****horpe v Sheff Utd 6/4 (brill price)
Notts Forest v Newcastle 6/4 (good price)

    £5 returns £220-£225.

These odds was supplied by WH. These are probably the bets that I may have at the weekend. If you want me to tell you why I think these will be the outcomes and want to have a bet on these too, then I shall give an outlook. I'm sure Citrus will know why, but I may have a better view about the CCC.

Stoke Hammers is a tough shout. Obv Stoke have the edge at home but I can see a draw and wouldnt be suprised with an away win. The rest seem fairly straight forward tho

Stoke are fantastic at home and it's where they pick up their points. West Ham are in a bit of a mess at the moment, and I can't see them picking up more than a point. If they get their point it will be a 0-0.

1)i see potential for chelsea to drop points this w/end. if they can lose at wigan wat more villa.

2)for similar reasons bolton could ruin our weekend.

3)and for similar reasons to 2) liverpool could drop points at sunderland.

4)stoke should have an easy win as well as blackburn. both at home to inferior opposition(srry to n e green street peeps but the premier league table is black n white)

    5) newcastle away to nott county is a good bet at 6/4 from WH.

    6) middleborough should have an easy win.

    7) celtic should win.

    8) partick should win.

charlton are free falling so id stay well away from them.

    n e 1 else got idea's on my idea's?
