Good spot, and ty to scrote for deleting. That's the proiblem with having unlimited editing time allowed for posts (we used to have it set at 10 minutes). I think you can be pretty sure if a randomer posts "yeah, I agree" or "I'll have 2 tickets please" or something equally as shit that they are going to be a spammer and should perhaps be deleted straight away anyway?

I'm gona be doing some WC bets tonight. In terms of potential outsiders I'm thinking £20 on Ivory Coast @ 50/1, £20 on USA @ 80/1 and £20 on Australia @ 150/1. Think they are 3 decent shots imo. Then maybe flutter £40 on a few Favs.

I shall also be betting this evening. I'll probably wager in the region of £50 on all manner of things. If you spot anything of exceptional value then stick it on the thread and I will do likewise - although my sportsbetting tends to resemble sticking the tail on a donkey.

Ive bought into a betting syndicate for the world cup. Potentially £20 pays £4million after 15 days.... (Potentially). More like to be £4-5k.

Better off putting it as an each way bet aswell with the outsiders imo, 'cos at least you get something back if they're beaten finalists. Realistically though to win it they'd have to outlast and beat some of these:

Brazil
Argentina
England
Holland
Germany
Italy
France
Portugal

Highly unlikely that one of the above doesn't win it. You can get 20/1, 10/1 and 7/1 on Aus, USA or Ivory Coast respectively, reaching the Semi's which could be worth a punt if you fancy them going on a run, can't see them winning it though.
