Football bet jesus style challenge.

TFeilding just came up with the idea that I should deposit £10 on betfair and run it up to £10k or go busto. I will obviously never hit £10k but it will be hella fun when/if I ever get to say £1k.

My bets will generally be high risk and -EV and I will be putting my whole bankroll at risk in every bet.

This should be a roller coaster ride, that being one of those roller coasters that only go down.



EDIT If anyone thinks I can't do this, you are right. It's practically impossible but if it were easy it would be dull.

Since I will be reloading if I bust, I expect most bets to be around the 5-1 mark to begin with, risking 50% of my roll on each bet. This thread might not get passed GO before the world cup starts though.

My first redic bets are:

Birmingham - Chelsea to draw. £7 @ 16/5

Arsenal - Villa to draw 0-0. £3 @ 14/1.


I think these bets are really silly but hilarious.

Birmingham are the in form team at the moment (or they were on Saturday when Football Focus was on) having won 5 on the trot. A Chelsea-Brum draw could be ok at those odds then.

I agree this would get fun at like 1k, but you clearly lose these bets about 5 times in a row and then fail to make it past £100 about 25 times in a row. GL though. I recommend Kaiserslauten in the 7:15 versus Augsberg.

Swindon are away to Fulham on 2nd Jan in the Fa cup 3rd round, good odds on a Swindon win I expect

Hehe the chelsea draw came in and I'm at £28.28 now.

Since I'm off to Oz shortly I'll stick it all on Liverpool to beat Wolves. I also have my Villa 0-0 bet on.
