    Default Horse Racing

I have been off work all this week and have been to Chester last Sat, Ripon on Tuesday, Haydock last night and going back to Haydock today. Last night on a 6 card meet, i had 5 winners and a place, i cashed in every race!!! The best days racing i have ever had.

Before you think i am a crazy horse racing punter kind of guy, i only bet a fiver a race, so hardly big time. I really enjoy going to the races, i don't do much betting unless i am at a track.

Does anyone else like the GG's and does anyone else ever go? Chester is a great day out and as it is right in the centre of town, its a great night out as well.

oh and if you want a tip for the Derby, i will be on St Nicolas Abbey

I enjoy going racing but am pretty clueless at picking horses - I luckbox my way as best i can. Last time I went was at Bath with some forum people (Cardhand and lisam) and Cardhand cracked the secret of racing - he bet on jockeys wearing green. I only twigged how successful it was by the last race but it still gave me an opportunity to walk away in profit from the day.

racing is a good day out, but i only go with my papa. . Like yourself im £5-£10 per race. local tracks are Doncaster, Nottingham, Ponty, Beverly, When i was a nipper @ Doncaster they had a family enclosure. You could drive right up to the edge of the course (for free) and there would be 5/6 bookies if you wanted a flutter. cheap day out but its all gone now .
Pontyfract do a sunday family day and/or 1 evening meeting where its £10 per car no matter how many are in it. inc free entry to the course,
Your missing the point friend, unless of course your displaying a sense of humour, of which i dont appreciate.
