How exciting was that?!

Klaasen winning, when it looked liked nerves were going to get to him. Barneveld missing double after double to leave the door open on many of the legs.

I'm not usually a fan of darts, but that game was just amazing.

I had £100 on Klaasen to win with betfair at 3.25, netting me a profit of £225 - 5% commission = £213.75.

Also put £100 on Klaasen to score more 180's in the final with WillHill at 2.6 giving a profit of £160.

Total outlay = £200. Total winnings = £573.75. Total profit = £373.75

My first sports-bet for around 18 months, and first time I've ever bet on darts. Result

Yeah, the speed was amazing. What a player! You could see that Barneveld was getting knackered trying to keep up with the pace.

I wish I'd backed Klaasen at the start of the tourney when he was 150-1 on betfair.
