    Nice 1'000 th post!

I hate Boro for many reasons.

They include; throwing money at players when they first went up. Constantly buying average strikers for no reason (ever thought about saving up for a good one!?), McLaren is ridiculously over-rated, crap fans, having half a team of overpaid stars, and the rest 500quid a week youth teamers. The style of football they play is so dull. Always buying everyone elses rejects (Ray Parlour anyone??).........

I wouldn't class Yakubu, Hasselbaink and Viduka as average strikers.

I agree we have some overrated stars, Mendieta for example, but the improvement we have shown in the past 5 years is second to none.

Wigan will prove to be a one season wonder.

They have little to offer in the form of star players and I don't expect to see them in European football for a good few seasons yet.

I may be proven wrong, we'll wait and see.

well you nearly allways get your moneys worth watching Boro,(except for thurs maybe)they score plenty of goals and are involved quite a lot in high score games,be it the winner or loser. The bolton game was a good one,and dont forget they beat CHELSKI (divers) Wigan have done really well on a budget of near nothing, for there first season in the premiership,i think theyll stay up next season aswell, but they need to buy,i hear theyll be a load of brummie players for sale soon.

I just think that Boro seem to be a club where you can get the best wage packet rather than a club you want to sign for.

As for the strikers, I agree in Yakubu being a cracking signing. I'm unsure about the Duke and JFH, both seem past there best (on about 50k a week too)!

You remember the legendary Mikkel Beck?? I saw him before Boro bought him and thought he was class. Put him in my Sun dream team, then watched him play like a total smeg for the season :-o

Beck was a legend, only player I have ever seen come out and do a speach at half time(on mic) to tell the crowd he is leaving and thank them for everything.

I'm still at a loss to how that team with Juninho, Ravanelli, Beck(was he there that season?) managed to get relegated, that was one class team.

Oh and by the way... Due to getting to the Carling Cup final, Wigan are in europe next year
