Apparently tonight's episosde of Eastenders is going to be broadcast live and reveal who killed Archie Mitchell. A few bookies are accepting bets on the result.
I'm wondering, how can a bookie accept bets on something that some people will know the answer for? It doesn't make any sense to me.
Mango: Anyone watching Graeme Norton? They've got that actress who was in that accident recently! Reece...
s4ooter: Witherspoon?
Mango: No, with a car.

They'll probably be giving shite odds anyhow and will keep an eye on who is getting the action. I also reckon bets will be capped, like BlueSq did with the APAT thing.
Who do you reckon did it? It won't be anyone obvious and it will also be an anti-climax.
I'm going to go for Sam Mitchell. I dont watch Eastenders these days, though I was forced to sit through the Christmas ones as I was with family. She has just come back from being on the run so it makes sense that she'd therefore be an easy person to dispose of cast-wise.
I've not actually seen an episode since Steve Owen was in it. I think that's probably about 8 years ago?..
So, I have no idea whodunnit... Was quite surprised that it was an event you could bet on though...

Schmegletron - ‘I want to get more bad hands like J8 so I can call shoves and bust people’.
Ive been reading a bit about it, Theyve rehearsed 10 Outcomes and the decision will be made 2 Minutes after the startof the show!
Cant say i really care but sounds sort of interesting!
They actually didn't have shit odds to be the the smallest prices I saw in William Hill was 7/2. And like you say they will have capped it as clearly quite a few people will know and I imagine this desperation from the bookmakers to make money will have resulted in a loss. From the 7/2 it was 7/1, so I imagine Stacey (who did do it i think) was more than 7/1.
