GNF Betting Thread.
It seems we are now having prop-bets and making odds for other members of the forum, so thought we could have a thread about it and make more bets about absolutely anything.
So feel free to make some bets of your own.
I am not sure that many people actually are big football fans, but I think Citrus is, so I am offering him and anyone else who may want to go on this:
Swindon Town to win Promotion from League One - 100/30.
I offer this price because after a quick look around google the best price is 3/1, clearly I need to bump this price for custom.

I assumed play-offs counted, if it was auto-promotion the odds would be a lot higher
Both count, but of course if Swindown somehow drop out of the play offs then I take your monies also. I'm happy sccept your bet too Citrus, but would have rather have seen it be an even amount say £15 pays £65, etc. But that is fine anyway I suppose. Come on Huddersfield.

I'd rather you have £15 on it or something, as I don't want to be sent broke by this and I know how lucky you are! Although a £23 bet pays around £100, so I would be happy with that.
I've just had a look at the table and see you have a chance, but I can't see you catching Leeds as they are not in the top two for no reason and the fact that there are still other teams in the league that can catch them! I am actually hoping that you get Charlton in the Semi's as I think they will beat you over 2 legs.

Leeds have only won 2 out of their last 7 though so if they keep stuttering there's a chance. If we win our game in hand we're only 4 points behind. If I had to pick I would still say Norwich and Leeds to go up, though Leeds are far from certs imo. (Although they have just signed Paul Dickov, he could do a good job in this league I reckon)
But....who needs Dickov when you've got super Charlie Austin! Dunno if you've heard anything about but we signed him from Poole Town and he's scored something like 13 goals in 15 games. As for Charlton, in both the league games we have been leading and they scored to equalise in 90+3 and 90+4. It'd be a 50-50 on whether we win it I suppose but obviously I've got to back the Town
So...yes I will put on £23 to save you the extra £3 you would have had to pay out if I bet £25 lol
