Self exclusion from betfair games
Hi new member here my name is Mike from Sheffield.
The forum looks great and hope to contribute in the near future.
Ok my question is.. I self excluded myself from the betfair games a few months ago when I lost my job and couldnt afford to be blowing my money on the turn of a card lol. Now I am back in full time employment and fancy a flutter now and again. I have e-mailed betfair to reinstate the games but they have said no. What they did say was I could write them a letter with a appeal but it may or may noit be succesfull.
Was wondering if anyone else on here had had a similar expierience and how they resolved it??
Thanks alot
Mike

Semi-Pro
Make a new account and slightly spell your name wrong or something? I imagine most sites like this are computer verified..

Self exclusion
Betfair are Paranoid regarding self exclusion .. They don't want to be sued by anyone who is let back in ..
If you apply you will be rejected..
If you change your name .. you will also need to change your address & bank details.
Basicall a completely new Identity.
I know all this simply because my cousin had the same trouble ..And after I think 3 years now he has given up on BF

I think they will not let you because they know once you self include yourself you will want to return at some pointl.

easy - get your self a googlemai account for email, shorten your name and your in, these validation programs are not hat smart and normally go on emailaddress and name - to exclude a whole address would be folly in the the long run.

Damn you are too dedicated.
I'd suggest you to take a longer stop from commercial gambling.
Get some money on your bank account (not to waste it again of course)
Once you got a bit distance to this topic but still interest in it try to control yourself more.
Create another bank account with a fixed sum you transfer to it monthly and never use other money, regardless of any feelings.
You really sound like you are in a high risk group

Can't you just apply to a new site? or just goto a local bookie?
