The Rules
Poker.co.uk does The Apprentice - Official Contest Rules
As these rules have been posted after the sign-up stage, and are slightly different than those specified earlier, it's cool if anyone decides to drop out (there are a couple of reserves waiting).
Note: These rules may be added to or amended as the contest progresses.
Project Managers
For each stage, one member of each team will self-nominate as that team's project manager. At the end of each stage, the PM of the team that loses will have to nominate 2 other members from their team to face the 'boardroom'. One of the 3 will be fired and play no further part in the contest.
Each candidate cannot be PM more than once, until all members of that team have had ago.
I reserve the right to fire more than one candidate in each period, and can also fire someone from the winning team if they have performed particularly badly / done nothing.
Teams
As the game progresses, the teams may become out of balance. In that case, I'll have to transfer a player from one team to another. This will most probably be done by: random factor
Winnings
The overall winner of the contest will recieve €1000. This will either be credited to a Poker.co.uk account of your choice, or paid as a bank transfer. If a bank transfer is chosen, it will be paid at the day's exchange rate that the winner is announced.
Each team will be given a tracking code(s) to track any new signups / new depositors from existing signups, that have resulted from any work they have done. After each task 30% of this amount (from both teams) will be pooled together and a freeroll of this value offered to the members of the winning team (who haven't been fired).
When we get to the final 4 contestants (2 teams of 2) I'll announce a winner of each team. The winner from each team will recieve the ongoing affiliate revenue from that team.
Note: It is up to the candidates themselves if they wish to strike a deal between themselves for affiliate revenue sharing. This can be done at any stage, and will remain the responsibilty of those making the deal to make sure it is kept to.
Private Forums
At the end of the contest the Private forums will be open to all, for entertainment value. So, try not to write anything in there that you don't eventually want made public.
