I'm not even sure if I'm on rakeback. The Dice Man account definitely was but not sure about Antilochus. Anyway I only have about 60fpp and I was saving them until one of the tournies this week with as few runners as possible, but now I suppose this news has broken they're all going to be in high demand. Ah well.

It's not new news or anything, Bazz's post reminded me of an email I recieved a couple of weeks ago that I was supposed to sort, but didn't get round to.

Matt, when u say zerod, do you mean current fpp balance reduced to zero? or just that no more will be added?

Im guessing the former, but hope its the latter. I think it would be a bit tight zeroing them imo. I know the other boss sites stopped running fpp games but at theres normally a shop to use them in some way. (fwiw i was on rakeback + fpps on my celeb account)

Aye, but sites running FPP shops - are they available to those on rakeback? afaik they aren't supposed to be. Maybe the fact you were on FPPs and rakeback at Celeb was a mistake their end? The Boss rules say one or the other, but not both together.

If you remove fpp from rakeback players you may as well cancel the fpp games as there would not be enough players for them to run. i know of 8 who play + get rakeback. could be more

That would be a shame, but I guess unavoidable

If it were to happen, I'd replace the FPP games with games that require a certain number of raked hands to be able to play.

I'm not sure what to think of this. Saying that though when you do think about it, the FPP's may seem to be more valuable, unless you're raking uber amounts such as 300+. When you think about if you accumulate 1000+ FPP's you have 5 chances a week to cash, which if you cash 2 or 3, then it's likely that you might get your rakeback back.

If some people want FPP's instead of rakeback, then surely there would be more worthwhile FPP's freerolls. I'm not sure about it replacing them with freerolls for raked hands, because there would be thousands of runnersfor something like 50euro.

I think we'd end up with less players if the FPP games had to be changed to raked hands games. That's because FPPs are earned whether you play STT, MTTs or cash games. Raked hands are only counted in cash games.

Also, if players aren't allowed FPPs because they are on rakeback, then I think there is nothing to stop them coming off rakeback (as you say if they rake less than say €300) and keep earning FPPs. Will find out the exact details when I hear back from Boss.
