Hi all, today we've launched a new service. Poker.co.uk The Player Zone.

Once you load up the Poker.co.uk software, you'll see a new box at the top of the screen with some links:

My Player Zone will take you to the new area - "The Player Zone".

Here you'll be able to read up-to-the minute info regarding promotions. You'll aslo be able to keep track of exactly how many FPPs you've earned this month, and how much you've raked. There's a handy 'Buddy List' to allow you to keep notes on players outside of the tables themselves, and you can tag each player as Fish, Shark, Rock, etc.

There's many new features to be added in the coming months. I'll keep you up to date as that happens.

Ok, so this seems to work fine and the info provided is useful, but why does it have to open web pages in IE when my default browser is Firefox? It's a minor issue, but annoying - is there any way to change it?

And since when did I become "The Original Devil Sharky"?

Ummm. I'm not sure why that is. If you ask the support team they should be able to tell you though.

Aye, there's something weird going on round these parts with regards to user titles. Trying to get to the bottom of it.

It looks good so far, but how often does it update? I have been keeping a spreadsheet of my profit/loss, rake, etc and it doesn't match up with my player zone info

Is the amount for rake just for interest - when would someone qualify for rakeback? I don't play enough but just interested.

If you rake over €100 a month you qualify. But you have to apply - it's not automatic.

Yes it is annoying, you can paste the address in to Firefox and log in manually, I have it bookmarked with the log-ins on auto, so use it like any other webpage..
