Admitadly i was rather intoxicated when i wrote the '......and??' reply. I just didnt understand the post!?

Looking back my reply was a little vague and probaly taken the wrong way, sorry!

However i still dont understand what the orginal post is trying to achieve, are you inviting players to come along and play? or are just letting people know the event is taking place?

If its to get people to come along..... then who do i contact to register? what sort of environment is it in - a casino in a hotel or a function room? what is your expected numbers to attend? you made the point of saying there is a tournment director - so a name and credentials? it is a commerical venture so who is 'pot luck'? how many simular events have you organised in the past? are hotel rooms available and if so how much? will there be side games?.....etc etc

I apologise if i sound like a knob (i know i am one) but it is this sort of information i would like to know if you want me to travel over to play.

Sell the event to me - make me want to play - make belive i will be missing out if i dont go.

    ...and Woody: I agree.

having never organised or played in an event like the one being organised is it normal pratice to take 5euro reg fee AND also take 5% from the total prizepool??
