Grosvenor 2004 Grand Prix

Whilst I was in the Cardiff Grosevenor Casino last night, I picked up a leaflet about the 2004 Grand Prix poker event they are running.

There are a series of qualifiers around the coutry starting September, and finishing early October.

The list of upcoming qualifiers are as follows:

Luton - September 26th, October 3rd

London Victoria - September 27th, October 10th & 11th

Walsall - September 22nd, 29th. October 6th, 13th & 14th.

Blackpool - September 23rd, October 1st, 9th

Salford - September 27th, October 11th

Southampton - September 23rd, 30th

Cardiff - October 6th

Swansea - October 4th

The format is Pot Limit, £100 buy in + £6 fee. It doesn't mention whether the format is rebuy + top up or not..

The top 15% of entrants qualify for the grand final, so the odds are pretty good. The final takes place Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October at Walsall, and is non-rebuy, non-topup, PL Hold Em.

I don’t know about the top up but there was defiantly 1 hour of limitless rebuys before a freeze out.

Alex (the guy who runs the card room) said that any player who entered wouldn’t be permitted to play in the £5 tourneys anymore :\

£50's my absolute max anyway.
