I heard from a few people that players who scored 1500 pts or more in March will qualify for April final.
Is this true?????
My main concerns over this (if of course true) are:-
1- There are lots of people who have more than 1500 pts and are not even showing on the invite board. How will half of them know if they don't think outside the box and check their
2- Is this tourney gonna be run over 2 days as there will be a sh**-load ov people there.
Please clear this up for me and hopefully it is only people in top 40 who scored more than 1500 but that leaves the average qualifying places redundent (in most cases)
Stuey.
United are lucky and I hate them......... YNWA
As far as i know its just the top 60 as per usual an the 5 averages. It is however the month where the top 20 in the manc region get an extra 2000 chips on finals day!!
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the response and sorry if I'm mis-understandin what you are saying.
Our lass (Emma) scored over 1500 points but was just outside the top 40 so does that mean, although she has more than the aforementioned 1500 pts she still hasn't qualified?
Just need to clear it up because a lot of people in the pub think it only applied to this month and are confused about qualification requirements. We also need to sort out babysitters etc in advance too, which is why I need to know if Emma has made it or not.
I only mentioned a 2 day tourney because I thought if everyone with 1500 points or more got through then there would be a lot more people than usual.

Ahh ok ...Sorry my mistake.
I think this extra 2000 chips is really unfair. It's fine for people who have no commitments and can play loads but if you have family/work commitments and can only play once or twice a week it's really hard to get into the top 15. So even though I have managed to qualify (in23rd) I am at a disadvantage from the start on finals day. As are most of the players. Makes me feel like not bothering which is a real shame as I love finals day. I know I'm not the only person who feels this way and I know at least one person in the top 15 who is not going to accept their extra chips because they think it should be a level playing field.
I have made top 15 and dont want my extra 2000 either. I have said all along i will gladly return my 2000 extra chips if all the top 15 agree to this. I have spoke to a few of the top 15 and i dont think the extra 2000 will happen, i know of at least 4 or 5 that have said they will give it back, The trouble will be getting all 15 to agree to this as i am willing to give mine back i dont want to be at a disadvantage if i do give it back.
