Rewards for the best venues!!

Ok just a thought. Having noticed that some venues are far better than others and that some landlords/landladys are more accommodating maybe there should be a 6 monthly or yearly award for them??! It would be a nice way of showing our appreciation. Just an idea.

We should just have a LPL Awards Ceremony thing in December....mix it in with a Christmas party, and hey presto!

The only problem is that the landlords who aren't as poker-friendly as Messrs Graham, Les and Chris might take the huff when they win the Scabbiest Shithole That Nobody Wants To Go To gong.

Possible categories might include:

Walt's most embellished story
Dave's most boring bad beat
Drunken escapade of the year (sponsored by the Broadway Casino)
Best poker romance

etc...

Big mac an fries on the way there. £1 for a good home cooked bit of scran (the chicken curry is my favorite haha) good poker, good atmosphere an best of all you can stop off for a McDonalds breakfast when your leavin hahaha.

Ok scrap my idea Mrs Burkeys is much better!! Although some of the categories might be a bit tongue in cheek ie Brum stories lol!! Sounds good to me though good excuse for a xmas piss up everyone together, some crappy trophies and lots of beer!
