Champers anyone?

Unfortunately Matt couldn't make it to the King's Head tonight, so the bottle of champers was up for grabs for who ever knocked me out instead. I didn't get knocked out, I won

So, how does this work? Can I knock myself out Mike and grab the champers? lol...I'm sure if I bang my head against the wall hard enough I can knock myself out.

Hmm the last time I drank champers I think I spent 3 days ill in bed afterwards. It was a good 2 nights and days drinking, but probably outweighed by the 3 days of alcohol poisoning that ensued!

So erm, maybe I should pass! On second thoughts, Im off to Nailsea tomorrow, and last week there were bottles of champagne being drank by a load of the regulars, who shortly after were trying to play golf (yes there was a golf club being swung about in the function room by a very inubriated individual...slightly worrying!) and then confessing there love for one another ... maybe I could take the champers there and join in the fun! But that leaves the problem of getting back to Bristol afterwards, and I don't think that spending the night in Nailsea after a few bottles of champagne with a few very drunk males telling each other how much they love each other.. . is such a good idea. Oh well, at least we aren't in Vegas, one could wake up married in such a situation!!!

Yeah there were some good games. The last one was great fun! Leneek seemed to enjoy it lots! Im sure she'll enjoy the champers too. I will send that picture over to somebody elses phone from which I can transfer it to PC, not sure how they came out, but Im sure from the 3 or 4 pics I took I can cobble something together, once Ive done it I'll send it over to you or something so you can do as you please with it. Heck I might even pop to Asda, get a decent sized print out of it, buy a glass frame and take it over there next week as a momento for her! She played a good game, but the outdraws on James were hysterical... Sorry James! It was a great way to end it though!

My outdraw on Alan (the chap who won the first bottle of champagne) was also kinda fun, not for Alan obviously, Aces cracked by the ol' 76s! That made up for my bad luck having the trip 8s with King run in to trip 8s with Ace maybe!

It was a good night, thanks to all that attended and it was enjoyable playing against you Matt. Maybe I will meet you for another game some time, and perhaps that time you will be more in it to win it? I don't think your concentration level was at its highest last night perhaps? What with What with telling amusing stories, teaching that young lad to play, trips to the bar etc, I get the distinct feeling that you could play a lot harder than that!
