The Manchester Cup is going to be run from the September Leader board, it will just give Manchester region the chance to play in a finals day while we run the WSOP promotion.


The Manchester Cup
will be based on the September Leader board, but we will make it difficult to qualify...as we are looking for the elite Manchester players!

Only 50 players will be invited to play for the Manchester Cup plus 10 reserves, this will be held at a location in Manchester in October.

The Winner will recieve the Manchester Cup plus bragging rights as the best player in the Manchester area, the trophy will be displayed at the winners home venue for all to see!.

The top 8 from Finals day plus 2 reserves will then be invited to a special game with the top team from the South West Region to play a Heads Up game, this hopefully can be arranged for November.

Manchester Cup Top 50 List is now in the hands of Dave!

Dave will be providing copies for all venues so check and see if you made it to the top 50!
The Winner will receive the Manchester Cup to be displayed at the venue the winner plays at, plus the top eight will all receive engraved medals and the chance to meet the best team in the South West Region to play in a heads up battle!

Can only the next ten be on the reserve list or can any memebers rock up and hope for the best if other dont turn up?

So 40 of the original 50 turn up and only 4 of the reserve list turn up you can fill one of the other places??

ok...why dont we just do away with the league and anyone can turn up and play for the prizes...is that what your suggesting?

if i understand you correctly then whats the point of having a league?, would you think its fair that players who play on a regular basis get into the top 50 on skill and good play only to find the person in last place gets a spot in the final because only 49 turned up...???

Can i ask what place did you finished in the league?
