fyi I think the functionality and feel of the new forum is fantastic.
Once people get over the initial "getting use to it" phase, I'm sure everyone will love it
I'll post up impreovements if/when I think of them
Good work.
Now we've upgraded to v4 I'd be interested to hear feedback. e.g. the look of the forum. If it's easier or harder to use than before. That kind of thing. Post all of that stuff on this thread.
If you find any bugs please post them on this thread: http://www.gamblingnetwork.com/forum...Upgrade-issues

Yeah tbh, when the last incarnation of the forum came about. I didnt like it. I still think the first one that was around when I joined April 08 was my favourite but I cant even remember it now so its just a case of getting used to it. I like the fact that all the text is smaller. Posts arent mahoosive anymore.

Unread threads are dark blue and read ones are light blue so it isn't immediately obvious which ones I've read, a different colour would be good!
Shitrus - do you use the 'new posts' button? If not, that might be a quicker way to check the forums.
I have been and then once I've clicked a link on a part of the forum I just go to the whole page of that e.g general and look whats new on there.
But I suppose it is easier to do it your way! You win this round failding
I just tried to make a 'FYP' comment and was told my post had to be 10 characters long (even though id inserted fresh text into the quoted portion).
Is this a bug?
