the chat room

We have started to use the chatroom quite a bit since last week and its a nightmare. For me it doesnt update so i have to log in and out every couple of minutes and other people are having problems with it too.

we need a java based chatroom so that you can use mirc to enter, that way you can have ops in there to stop spammers etc

Bollocks to a java one, nearly as bad as PHP imo, get a flash one, there's one out there with no exploits aka as FlashChat, very nice looking, nicely coded and coded to run smooth off just 1 mySQL slot

Thanks for the suggestion, I agree actually... I've never been absolutely happy with the current chat solution here. A general forum upgrade is coming soon, so we'll implement this once that is completed.
